SHIPPING TIMELINES DURING COVID-19

We are making every effort to serve our valued customers in a timely manner during these challenging times. Due to higher demands for deliveries, our shipping partners are experiencing delays in getting you your parcels. As a result, Rheo’s is not able to give guarantees on shipping timelines.

Below you will find estimated timelines for our No Contact Shopping Options. This information is an estimation only and may change as a result of courier delays.

CURBSIDE PICK-UPS
(available Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 2 pm)

Our storefront, located at 55 Albert Street, Stratford is not open BUT we are behind-the-scenes fulfilling online orders for shipping, in-town delivery, and curbside pick-ups. Next day curbside orders can be made online at www.rheothompson.com (by selecting In Store Pick Up during your checkout), by phone (1-888-271-6910), or by e-mail (info@rheothompson.com). FREE STRATFORD DELIVERIES
(available Monday through Saturday within Stratford city limits)

Order your Stratford delivery online at www.rheothompson.com. During your checkout, select DELIVERY and our system will register your address and remove any delivery fees upon checkout. 

Orders with unspecified delivery dates will be delivered the next day. If you would like to request a specific date for your package to arrive, use the date selection tool during checkout or leave us a note. 

Our team generally makes daily deliveries between 3 pm to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday. The driver will ring your doorbell (or knock) and place your package on your front porch as long as it is safe to do so. 

In the case of extreme weather, our driver will bring the parcel back to our facilities for safety if no one answers the door. An attempt to redeliver will be made on the next business day. 

SHIPPING TIMELINES

Rheo’s recommends placing your order well in advance of when you would like to receive it. This extended timeline will help our team and courier partners meet your delivery expectations. 

Suggested ordering timelines to avoid disappointment:

Ontario – 10 business days
Rest of Canada – 14 business days
United States – 18 business days

Rheo’s not able to guarantee these suggested timelines. 

SHIPPING RATE CHART
All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes. Shipping weights are in pounds (lbs).

Shipping parcels weighing over 20 lbs or addresses in remote locations may incur additional charges.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You will receive a series of automated email from Rheo’s. A tracking email will be sent once the courier has picked up your parcel and it has left our facility. This will include a tracking code which can be clicked for further details about your package delivery. 

If you are not seeing your confirmation or tracking emails, please check your Spam Folder as sometimes they end up there. 

Yes, for the most part we are able to ship when the weather gets warmer. We are now able to ship within Ontario out of Stratford on next day delivery (Monday through Thursday) during the warm summer months (May to September) by putting your order in an Insulated Rheo’s Bag with a gel freezer pack (both reusable). This will add $12.00 to the current shipping charges. We do not ship orders on Fridays as next day delivery is not available on weekends and we cannot guarantee heat protection for your order at the delivery depot.  In the fall when the temperature drops below 20 °C/ 68 °F, we will remove this additional fee. We cannot ship to further locations at this time without additional fees for next day deliveries.

Take a moment to review your order before chicking out and again once you receive your confirmation email. If you find an error with the information you have provided, notify us as soon as possible by calling 1-888-271-6910 or emailing us at info@rheothompson.com. 

Once your order leaves the candy factory with the courier we are unable to change delivery details. In the unfortunate instance that this does happen, we will have to pass along the additional courier-return-to-sender fee (usually between $10 to $15). If you would like to re-ship your order once it returns to our facilities we would be happy to do so. The original cost of shipping will need to be re-charged for re-packaging and re-sending your parcel.

If you have noticed a mistake with your order, please contact us at 1-888-271-6910 or by email at info@rheothompson.com so we can address your concerns.

We hope you never have to do this, but in the case that you need to cancel your order please call 1-888-271-6910. As long as we have not processed your order we are able to cancel it and provide a refund. All cancelled orders are subject to a 5% credit card processing fee. Refunds are done approximately every 10 business days and you will be notified when it is complete.
